Excellent for us custom box builders. I had (for the first time) 3 customers with issues in one week. I havent had 3 customers in 3 years with any issues pertaining to software. But, luckily, I kept records using Belarc and was able to quickly remedy their issues.

Definitely not good for streaming movie files. I always have to hard reset my media center in order to unfreeze it from idle. If you run it constant then it works but once it sits idle for 3hrs, it's frozen until you either unplug it or hard reset the computer.
That's not ideal for a media center because you want it to operate as a TV does.
I've seen the 500gb work much more smoothly but the price is nice and its great for back ups.
