I have a tomtom rider 2 now for 18 months. in that time i am now on the 3rd tomtom, 3rd bike docking station and 2nd power cable. after 2 bike runs i had to send the whole unit back because it wasnt charging. the last time it was used in the rain and got water logged and stopped working or charging. contacted tomtom to be told i was riding in the wrong kind of rain - seriously? i was told i should have stopped on the motorway til the rain subsided this was insane. they offered me 20% reduction on a new unit and if this one was to be fixed it would cost 1/3 of the price of a new one. there is no complaints department. i got a customer survey which i filled in to the worst possible level and havent even been contacted by a representative from tomtom asking why. they simply dont care about customer relations.
i would never EVER recomment this device to anyone with a motorbike youre asking for a world of trouble and headaches.

with windows 7 64bit home version and itunes 9.x 64bit and office 2007: itunes is not able to sync with outlook saying win7 has not got sync enabled and outlook doesnt show up as an available option in itunes. the iphone 3gs 32gig only shows up occasionally and cannot always sync music let alone anything else. there is no information for this on either the apple or microsoft site to fix this.
the only way ive got it working was to make a vmware virtual machine of windows xp and sync that way without problem. the 64bit itunes / win7 64bit appears buggy and in my opinion not to be trusted. the two companies need to get together to sort this one out as its the consumers that are suffering from this one.
