The public image campaign of the recording industry towards music downloaders continues. The BBC reports that there are plans or an official Top 40 downloads chart. The chart will naturally only consist of legally downloadable songs from official sources, so it will not be your Kazaa or Direct Connect Top 40.
"Downloads will be incorporated into the official singles and albums chart. It will happen when the music industry is ready for it. We're probably talking about 18 months."
