Now that Xbox 360 is on the market, PS3 is on its way and Epic is working on their new Unreal Engine 3, Todd Hollenshead, CEO of id Software is coming forward announcing that they are considering a brand new version of Wolfenstein for Xbox 360, PS3 and PC. Id is also working on Enemy Territory: Quake Wars, so after the release of upcoming Wolfenstein, id should have quite an arsenal of first-person shooters to compete with.
It is yet undecided how and when id is going to release the oldschool FPS remake. As reported in ComputerAndVideoGames.com, CEO of id Software said, "The next Wolf game is using the 360 as its primary development platform, but will be released on the PC as well."

The rather large fanbase of Quake 4 will get a treat from id soon as the company is going to release new multiplayer maps, game modes and more in an update for both Xbox 360 and PC versions. According to Hollenshead, they aren't just ready to put them out yet, even though id team has made some testing already. The update can be expected in few months.
