Verizon has confirmed they have rolled out LTE coverage to new areas, and expanded existing coverage, ahead of today's iPhone 5 release.
The fast 4G LTE now covers additional cities in the states of Colorado, Georgia, California, Kansas, Montana, Ohio, Idaho and Wyoming.
Furthermore, the coverage has been expanded around Illinois, Minnesota and Nebraska.
Verizon has noted that they plan to have LTE for most of the population by the end of next year.
Apple's latest iPhone is the first to have an LTE radio and most analysts expect the phone to be the fastest-selling smartphone of all-time.
