I also picked up this player duning the walmart sale. Well worth the price. I suggest anyone who purchases this player obtain the firmware updates. They are quick and simple to install over a high speed cable network. The updates improve the players performance significantly. Only pet peeve is the slow spool up and down time.

I got this one for $98 at Wal-Mart on the Holiday Special, it's a great player but not perfect, the lack of features and a settings bug was my only complaint with the player. DVD+R and Divx/mp4 support would have been nice but that’s OK. I do have to say the upconvert on my Samsung DVD-VCR combo was a little better too. I found that when playing regular DVD's on my widescreen TV I have to go in to the settings every time and change the aspect ratio from 16:9 if not I get black boxes on the right and left side of the screen, an auto feature would have been nice, but not a biggy.
The picture and audio is excellent and with the price so low it makes up for everything else.
