Circuit City extends HD DVD return time

Smart retailing!

If you paid full (or near-full) retail price for your HD-DVD, it might be a good idea.

But if you got the player at a huge discount ..... I'd hang on to it.

I wonder if they will be to give away returns?

It sounds like Circuit City has gone one step further. You can now return your HD DVD player for a full refund (gift card) no matter when you bought it, as long as you have a receipt. You can read the details here.

Update: I've read on some other sites that the offer is only good if you bought the HD DVD player in the last 90 days. I guess we'll have to wait until Circuit City posts the details on their website.

oh yeah right - that's such an absolute foolproof way of making money isn't it ? except when it come to handing over the sales ticket as proof of purchase and they see how much you paid for it - DOH !
