Sony takes down its Facebook and MMO games

Sony takes down its Facebook and MMO games Following the ongoing saga of the hacked PSN, Sony has now taken down their MMO and Facebook games.
Reads the official statement:

Dear Valued SOE (Sony Online Entertainment) Customers,
We have had to take the SOE service down temporarily. In the course of our investigation into the intrusion into our systems we have discovered an issue that warrants enough concern for us to take the service down effective immediately. We will provide an update later today (Monday).

We apologize for any inconvenience and greatly appreciate your patience.

Last week Sony said that SOE had not been affected by the massive PSN hack, but it seems there may now be worries related to the "external intrusion."

Is there something unique to the Japanese that makes them habitual liars? After the tsunami mishap with the nuclear plant (no problem, oops maybe a little, to oh F*** we need help...), and not Sony's dealings with people credit cards and privacy, it sure seems they never like being honest from the get go.

Aren't they the same crowd that deplore copyright infringement but make blank DVDs and DVD burners - and first brought the rootkit into general use.

not to us Americans, but really can you blame'em. i would lie to somebody that A-bombed us, Americanized a good 75% of our country and industry, while destroying our beliefs and religion. then had the gull to throw us stranded in America in concentration camps, and revoking our rights as a citizen.

and don't fool yourself America is the home of the best lairs in the world, everything that come's out of a politicians hole is a lie, wrapped in half truths, worded and pronounced in a form, that even the best bullshitters couldn't tell the deference between the truth and the lie.

Rofl...yes...you can't trust those edited for content! I haven't trusted them since WWII...AND I STILL DON'T! I don't like hanging around large crowds of Japanese people or flying in planes with them. You never know when one of those hen tie wearing m'fers is going to commit bukkake right in front of you!

(I hope you have your sarcasm filter on)

Sarcasm or not, racist remarks and inappropriate comments violate forum rules so please don't jump on the bandwagon following others and keep to the topic of the news. TY.

Ah well...this is why you won't ever see Blazing Saddles (one of the funniest satires against racism and racists I've ever watched) broadcast almost anywhere again ever. It amuses me, that the overt racist message in the original message is ok according to the rules, but that word isn't. There's something to be said for enforcing rules vs enforcing the intent of the rules, but understanding the idiocy on Internet messageboards I don't fault you for doing it =).

A blatant derogatory insult as you did (jokingly or not) vs a comment that has absolutely no racist remark in it ANYWHERE is not one and the same. Either way it is not of your concern how the rules are enforced so be mindful of yourself and what you think is or isn't acceptable.

I respectfully disagree with you in that I do believe calling all Japanese people habitual liars is blatantly racist.

Disagree all you want. It doesn't change the fact that it is ones opinion and is not a clear & direct derogatory remark like yours that violates forum rules.
