Demonoid was my favorite site..uhh other than after dawn of course lol

old news ... Demonoid was back a couple of days ago with both original user and torrent databases intact >:o)

I just found out today when I dropped by to see if they were up yet. Turns out they were. Good thing too. I started to grab COD4, but am now at a whopping 10kB/s download... I hope this doesn't reflect the rest of the user database. I have a 3+ share ratio on that site and I hope I'm not the only one on there not leeching. Anyways, it's good news for now.

Even Canadian users who had there accounts "deleted" seem to have there accounts back :). At least i do!

My world makes sense again. :D The other trackers I'm on are too specialized and don't come close to the shear volume and variety of files that Demonoid has to offer.

i reported this to them on the 11th...strange they didn't jump sooner.....politics......my ratio is messed up anyone else's?

hey i was wondering if anyone had any spare invite codes. my account got deleted because the site closed down, weird how some people still had their accounts. i know i can't post my email so could sumone pm me. this would be greatly appreciated!!

My old account still works. Guess Demonoid works back up in Canada too. But always found demonoid to be quite slow. Share ratios aren't properly in place, lots of hit and runs.

And I never downloaded 24 GBs, maybe a few errors they need to fix still.

I call bulls**t on those deleted accounts, just people trying to get invited...

you don't have to wait forever to get in or get an invite, they have open enroll every friday, at least that's the day it is in eastern time USA, and i'm getting bad download speeds too, too bad, hope they get better. they were my favorite, always kept the junk out

so when is demonoid usually open to registration? fridays?

Wow, I feel complete again. no more having to Rar my stuff to get it out. Can't keep the green demon down.

A while back membership was by invitation only. I was lucky to get in on a day when it was opened for a couple of days to general public.

They are so nice I got their email informing me that they were back. Love this site !!!

Definitely worth getting if you can get in during the reg period. I have used the Demon for a long time, if you can't find it on the Demon good chance that no one has it going at present.

i was introduced to the torrent world just about when the legendary demonoid was shut down. i just had mininova and tpb ad my source but then traces od demonoid and its legend stil lurks on those sites. i wondered how good that community was and now, luckily, i'll have a chance to get a taste of it.

i can't wait 'til friday. :) i'll ne up all day. :)

demonoid isn't 100% virus free but the uploaders need to be registered so if you find a virus file there is an email linked to it (A REAL email) and likely the IP address but you saw that when you first latched onto the torrent as it was the only uploader

It took me a few tries to find when the ol' demon was accepting public requests (no one told me what day to look, I just looked every day) then when they cleaned out their database of all the dead wood (many trackers allow about a month between login's before deleting you) then I signed up. took me a while to go positive, but I've been in the black ever since... those hungry users keep sucking Azureus's teats.

there is more trouble with the warez than the audio and visual and if there is a "Serial generator" be sure to run your anti-virus befor you run the exe

Lots of gens give false positives because of the way they work.. better to read the comments first ;)

some give false positive when the user doesn't follow the rules.....there was one where if you didn't put the .dll in the right location the serial key would say "are you kidding??" when you tried to generate it.......it got bad comments and was removed....isohunts rating system is top-brass, the sites quality is constantly increasing.....and with the new user interface it seems people are more willing so seed:)
