The NPD Group has announced they have been forced to delay the release of the September US video game sales data due to "processing issues."
The numbers were expected to be released today, but instead will be pushed back until Monday.
August's numbers saw a bump in month-on-month revenue, however the figures were still significantly down year-on-year.
Price cuts on the PS3, Xbox 360, Wii and PSP (in Japan) are expected to help boost sales significantly for September, pushing the entire industry back into growth after six months of negative year-on-year growth.
