Netflix streaming app headed to iPhone in near future This will be a blurb article as there is not too much info as of yet, but the official Netflix blog has posted an entry this evening all but promising a streaming app for the Apple iPhone.
Reads the post:

"Steve Swasey, VP of Corporate Communications, here. Terrific response to our news today about Netflix on the iPad. For those of you asking whether Netflix will be on the iPhone and iPod Touch: We wouldn't invite you to dinner without planning to serve dessert. In other words, we're working on it so stay tuned."

Netflix has an app already for the iPad tablet, and some sites are already calling it a must-have "killer app."

This is pointless to me. It has already been said that this will only be available on a wireless network. Chances are, if one is in a wireless hotspot, they will have access to a computer screen to stream Netflix on.

It always amazes me that Android phones have quickly caught up to the iphone and yet the apps are made for apple only. It's not like it would be a waste of time for them to engineer the app for Android since it's not as popular. Because the fact is it's exactly as popular.
