Samsung to release 64GB Galaxy S III this year Samsung has confirmed that it will release a new model of the Galaxy S III smartphone later this year.
The new model will include 64GB of internal storage, double the current storage of the popular device.

Says the company: "The 64GB model of the Galaxy S III will be available during the second half of this year. The market availability and timing may vary and will be determined at the time."

There was no word at all to narrow the time frame, but the extra storage will be a welcome addition to consumers who like to download a lot of movies, music and books.

The 32 GB model has a microSD card slot, if I'm not wrong. So, let's hope the 64 GB model has it too. Otherwise, it would be a scam.
