Google offers $6 in free credit to Chromecast owners

Google has started offering Chromecast owners $6 in Google Play credit.
The search giant is marketing the credit as a Valentine's Day gift so you can rent a romantic movie and stay in. Of course, you can get whatever you want with the credit and it does not appear to have an expiration date.

To take advantage, you must be logged into the same Wi-Fi network as your Chromecast and then click here. You will see all your current offers (I had 5) and you just have to confirm your Chromecast serial with Google to accept the credit. You can also use the mobile app if you prefer on iOS and Android.

Don't forget to hit "Redeem."
