Couldnt download windows wouldnt recognise it

convert X to DVD is een makkelijker progje voor die whitefox. maar sorry als je echt onberispelijke qualiteit wil werk je met the filmmachine gemaakt door the mask. een hollander trouwens. als je geen propere install uitvoert en je codecs niet feilloos zij afgeregeld dan is het niet misschien te moeilijk voor u. Wat dacht je die geniale kerel die dat progje zonder er maar 1euro aan te verdienen er ook nog eens conversieprogjes van om en bij de 2000 euro(zie canopus of CCE) er nog eens gratis bijgeeft...HALLO daar eerst de moeite doen om wat kennis inzake filmconversie te vergaren en dan een oordeel vellen.U heeft geen idee hoe je jezelf hier belachelijk komt maken.En ja het duurt iets langer eer hij klaar is... meedere passen en qualiteit vragen hun tijd.Maar je hebt dan wel een "schokloze" film in hoge qualiteit met behoud van meerdere audiokanalen etc... Je zegt 8uren voor conversie hahahaha jij hebt waarschijnlijk zon goedkope pc van de supermarkt met veel toeters en bellen aan en met inwendig verouderde processors en flutvideokaartjen, maar wel met een cardre

just over 1 hour for me with CCE to dvd = nice <br/> <br/>keep up great work mask!

downloaded "stable" version doesn't work properly, downloaded patched-up version (1.5.4) also doesn't work properly. This program is pure nonsens, it takes over 8 hours to process 60 minutes of AVI2. Result is poor. <br/>Also it needs an immense amount of free hard disk space, over 32 Giga for 60 minutes AVI2. <br/>The necessary K-Lite and C.C.E files cannot be downloaded at the locations indicated in the helpfiles. But need to be downloaded at "TORRENT" sites, with all risk involved of downloading e.g. viruses and trojans.

I found it very poor. I tried to convert one AVI file to DVD and after 12 hours it completed only 60%, so I closed it.

i am totally in love with this app combined with CCE, i have done literally hundreds of avi to dvd now and man its awesome...

and second to this app i like ConvertXtoDVD...

I like it. But like the rest of these kinds of tools (avi2dvd,etc.) it doesn't let you select the size you want the output to be, or the bitrate. It has options like 1 cd, or 2 cds, but it's not quite what i'm looking for. Still, it's a great tool and it's sure as hell better then anything then I could make!

Used this for a few weeks now and found it very easry to use..with very good output results...........I used it eith the Cinema Craft encoder engine

I used this for the first time today to convert 'The Sisterhood Of The Travelling Pants' from AVI to DVD format. First impressions are that it is a very easy and user friendly program to use.
I must admit to being a huge fan of DVD2SVCD mainly because it uses Cinema Craft Encoder, which in my opinion is the best available. The Film Machine can also use CCE as an option, even though it comes complete with 2 other encoders, namely HC and QuEnc.
After loading it up with whatever AVI file you wish to convert, the first thing that appears is a panel on the right hand side which tells you all you need to know about the conversion specs. e.g. Pal or NTSC, widescreen or fullscreen etc.
I usually use AVI Codec for that information but with The Film Machine you don't need to.
After setting up the output folder and making any other changes you see fit, you can just click go and forget about it.
I was very pleased with the results. The movie quality was as good as DVD2SVCD and it even changed the audio to AC3 which is always a good thing.
For you technical buffs out there, the version of CCE I used was SP 2.5 but I believe any version can be used.

I played with the previous version of The Film Machine, and for people who don't want to mess around with 5 different apps, this is definitely the way to go.

I used Canopus ProCoder with great results. But the Film Machine somehow crashed my ATI All In Wonder 9600, so I had to do a full re-imaging of my hard drive.....Twice. (Fortunately i keep good incremental backups so it just takes 20 mins.)

But other than that potentially very specific issue, i think its a pretty decent program that will save most people a lot of headaches.
