Obviously, you don't understand that software is continually updated to keep up with advances, in this case new firmware for cd/dvd players/burners and newer disks always come out - hence the need for the newer software to keep up with the times.
Ummm . . . maybe people want new versions, like me? Maybe people don't have Nero OEM?
