Fresh Download is an easy-to-use and fast download manager can accelerate file downloads. It supports FTP, HTTP and HTTPS protocols with it's turbo charge feature. To get the highest possible download speed it's often manadatory to use multiple streams per file, Fresh Download can support up to 8 simultaneous connetions to same file. Some reports indicate that this can increase the download speed up to 400%, but of course the actual download speed is not just about the number of streams. Other useful features include scheduling of backups for low trafic periods, Antivirus support, ability to download password protected sites and built-in ZIP file extractor.
