Foxmail is a lighweight email application that offers you many useful features and a user-friendly interface and supports POP3/IMAP accounts, Hotmail and Gmail accounts, HTML email, mailbox encryption, multiple accounts and more.

Foxmail also comes with a WYSIWYG tool to compose nice looking HTML emails from templates or scratch. The program also offers filter options, allowing you to act upon incoming mail that meets certain criteria - you can delete messages, forward them, auto-respond to them and more based on keywords appearing in the subject, address, text etc.

The Express Send feature enables you to send mail directly to the recipient, using the built in SMTP server, thereby bypassing your ISP.

Foxmail includes many other features, including a remote mail viewer to manage mail on the server, as well as a small scroll ticker that displays message subjects as they arrive in your inbox.

    The default Foxmail interface in the portable version is English.

    NOTE: Version 6.0 of Foxmail occasionally did send email usage data to datacollect.foxmail.com.cn, unknown if tht is still an issue.
    To make sure this doesn't happen add this to your .hosts file:
    127.0.0.1 datacollect.foxmail.com.cn
    127.0.0.1 ping.qq.com

    excellent program. The publisher should keep all old, good & help full features.
    Like I do not see the No of mails in a particular folder, Size of the folder, then while checking mails, it does not show how many mails are there and which one is being downloaded, etc. etc.

    Anyway, this program is very very good compared to any mail program on earth & I have used.

    I am using this since last 10+ years...thanks for the nice program.

    There should be a forum in english for exchanging views, how tos for FOX mails...if there is pls drop me a mail "Fastlinkta@gmail.com
