VirusTotal Scanner is a freeware tool that provides a user interface for the online VirusTotal site. The tool is available for free from SecurityXploded.com.
VirusTotal is an online service that uses many different anti-virus packages to analyse files that you upload, giving you one of the best ways to probe a suspicious file that you find.
VirusTotal Scanner is GUI application which comes with simple interface and makes it easy to use even for beginners.
You simply drag and drop the suspicious file on the interface and click "VirusTotal Scan" and it will do the uploading in the background, while also retrieving the detailed VirusTotal report.
NOTE: The installer may include an optional toolbar.
