VUDU drops price of media hub

VUDU has dropped the price of their networked media hub to $150 USD down from $300 as well as a free $50 USD in VUDU credit to purchase or rent TV and movie content.
A new bundled deal will offer the same hub plus an "802.11.g Wi-Fi kit that bridges the media device to a home router" for $200 USD. The hub itself plays up to 1080p resolution content and has a 250GB HDD.

It is unclear whether the deal will last past Christmas but the new deal will make the VUDU player $80 cheaper than the rival Apple TV which does not offer as much storage.

The Vudu BX100 retails for $300, but a limited-time promotion includes a $200 movie credit for those who purchase the unit at Best Buy
The final price for the box is the same.

Not really Juankerr, not everyone wants to spend 300 at one time, especially when the same box is available for 150.
