I'm not sure that the teenager set would be interested in these Kin phones. The teenagers want Twitter functionality, including photo upload. They probably also want some applications, which Kin doesn't have.

Yes, but kids have parents, and the parents are usually the ones who do the phone shopping...and they buy the phone that the salesperson tells them to buy.

im not sure if you guys really have looked into the kins, or perhaps you have, but i for one am liking the kins. I have a Zune HD right now, so its great to see them implementing them on the phone. Not sure if its going to be as responsive and smooth, but its a great idea to say the least.
Plus all their social features seem great (im a teenager, so that may explain alot).
Too bad on not on verizon though. Id have to say its a smart move to go to verizon as a lot of americans are either on AT&T or Verizon, but everyone on AT&T has an iphone.

TBH, the Kin2 is almost a good device, or rather it is a great device...but it has windows mobile...and not even windows 7 mobile from what I can see. If someone were to 'jailbreak' it to run Android, it would be a very nice phone...but it still would not have a d-pad for playing games like my Droid does.
