Google Glass now available in the UK Google has expanded their Glass headset outside of the U.S. for the first time, making the device available to UK residents.
The beta Explorer program has priced the device at £1,000 (about $1,700 USD), slightly more expensive than the $1500 it costs in the U.S.

Reads the blog post:

Probably the question we've heard more than any other is: when will Glass be available outside the US? Well, we're starting out by dipping our toes across the pond.

Beginning today, we're extending our open beta Explorer program to the UK. The world sees the UK as a center (actually, a centre) of innovation. It has produced some of the greatest technology inventors and inventions of the last century, and people on the ground are always excited to explore new products and ideas.

So, if you are here in the UK and fancy a demo, RSVP to try Glass at our London Demo Days on June 27-28th at http://londonthroughglass.splashthat.com/ or join the Explorer Program and get Glass at www.google.co.uk/glass.

Intriguing. But, I'll keep my $1500 thank you :p Perhaps I'd consider such a device, if it were under $200.

Anybody that bought this for 1500 is someone I don't want in my circle of friends simply because IT'S IDIOTIC to pop this kinda cash for something of this nature.

It's worth maybe 300 bucks and sorry to say Google but THEY HAVE BEEN AVAILABLE TO THE U.K. SINCE INCEPTION..................Via Ebay!

Not worth it for that amount of money...

If it's like the chromecast... it's actually worthless.

meaning it should be worth $10 or something, if it costs anything.
