Taghycardia is a freeware MP3 tag editor and utility for Windows that can fix tag problems with portable media players.
Portable media players, like iPods and iPhones, organize MP3 audio based on the metadata/tag information stored within the MP3 files themselves. This is how it organizes albums in order and includes artist, song title, and much more information.
The unfortunate result of this is if songs have slightly different tag information that can result in albums showing up more than once on portable media players, with different tracks in each.
