iGadget from Purple Ghost Software is a management tool for an iPod, iPod Touch, iPad or iPhone handset. At its most basic, iGadget makes it possible to easily transfer songs, videos and playlists from an iPhone, iPod or iPad to your computer. The data can be fed to iTunes, keeping information on play counts, user ratings, last played dates, volume adjustments and more.

The tool allows you to put information on Gas prices and also driving directions onto an iPod (when available), and to send Outlook e-mails, appointments, contacts, tasks and notes to the device. It also features information on Movie Showtimes, Weather Forecasts and can add RSS news feeds to an iPod.

iGadget lets you use your iPod as a backup device by making it possible to transfer files and folders from your computer to the iPod.

To use this software you will need to have the Microsoft .NET Framework v2.0 installed. The trial download is limited to 15 days or 10 uses.
