It supports bluetooth adapters based on chips from CSR and Broadcom. This can help if you have bought several cheap dongles on-line and it appears they all have the same bluetooth MAC address.
You may also want to change the MAC address for software debugging purposes or perhaps for privacy reasons.
NOTE: This portable version includes no installer.
