Disk Cleaner can check for running applications and informs the user that they should be closed for optimal cleaning results. Current checks include Internet Explorer, Firefox, Opera, Google Chrome and FeedReader. Text plug-ins can be easily upgraded to include similar functionality. See the plug-in how-to for more information.
When Disk Cleaner estimates that a plug-in needs administrator rights to function properly, this plug-in is hidden for a standard user. This means less confusion and less warning messages for the user.

Added: /sf option in [files] section in text plug-ins ensures that subfolders are scanned as well, but only files are removed. The directory structure is kept intact.
Added: wintemp.dct, a plugin to forcibly clean the \Windows\Temp folder.

Fixed: Cleaning of Firefox 3 and higher's history sometimes also removed all bookmarks. This has been fixed, the SQLite library is used to safely purge all history records and compact the database
