Earlier this year, RadioShack declared bankruptcy after years of declining sales and failed attempts to rebound.

Earlier this week, electronics retailer RadioShack officially filed for bankruptcy, selling around 2000 of its stores to its largest shareholder and closing the rest permanently.

In an effort to get into the brick-and-mortar business, it appears that Amazon is in talks with bankrupt retailer RadioShack to buy some of their over 4000 locations.

Bankrupt electronics store RadioShack is in talks to sell leases for some of its stores to major U.S. carrier Sprint.
