Twitter has pulled the chord on Vine today, shutting down the popular video clip sharing service.

Vine has announced this week that their popular video sharing app will now support higher quality video, jumping from the current 480p max to 720p.

The popular video-sharing app has reached 40 million registered users, 200 percent higher than the amount reported in June.
