Golden Joysticks

The Golden Joysticks is an annual video games award show held in the United Kingdom. It is the oldest gaming award ceremony, and is also the most popular according to the Guinness Book of Records.

It hands out awards for 16 different categories of games released in the previous year (except one). The winners are chosen by UK gamers through voting.

Popular past award winners include titles from the Grand Theft Auto series, Fallout 3 and Mass Effect 2 (Ultimate Game of the Year, 2010).
