Widescreen Ultra eXtended Graphics Array

Widescreen Ultra eXtended Graphics Array, or WUXGA, is a display standard that defines a resolution up to 1920x1200 pixels. This image is displayed in a 16:10 aspect ratio. WUXGA is recommended for Full HD 1080p content, as it can display the entire image in the widescreen format. A slight bit of letterboxing would be in effect over the additional height in the WUXGA resolution, over the 1920x1080 resolution of 1080p. LCD monitors and televisions are sold with this native resolution.
