SIIA
SIIA stands for Software and Information Industry Association.
It is a U.S. based non-profit group that represents software publishers in the United States. It resulted from a merger of the Software Publishers Association (SPA) and the Information Industry Association (IIA).
SIIA has a stated goal to provide software publishers in the United States with proper representation to government and policy makers. It breaks up into six seperare divisions, Public Policy, Anti-piracy, Software, Content, Education and Financial Information Service Division.
It’s Anti-piracy division is well known for its 1992 "Don't Copy That Floppy" campaign. The group conducts a campaign against copyright infringement in the country, and has had many more educational programmes aimed at discouraging the use of illegitimate software.
