Neotion SHL

Neotion SHL is a Conditional Access System released by Neotion in 2004. It is a pre-paid Smart Card-based system which controls access to Pay TV protected content to stop unauthorized viewers (non-subscribers) from decrypting premium channels. It was released around the same time, and thus used mainly with, the Neotionbox receiver (pictured below).
